Departure from the "Salle de Thorigny" bus stop.
(S/E) Head to Place de l'Église, follow the red markings, Sentier de la Battée, and descend into the Villonnière valley.
(1) At the bottom of the valley, turn right towards the hamlet of Bel-Air, and at the hamlet take the left-hand path towards Petit Bel-Air.
(2) Turn right to pass in front of the Moulin Vieux (ruins of a windmill in the meadow on the right) and head towards La Combe.
(3) A good hundred metres before La Combe, turn right and continue to Ruisseau du Trou.
(4) At the three-way junction after crossing the stream, continue to the right.
(5) Cross the Tourteron and cross the D88 with caution, then turn left and pass in front of the Logis.
(6) Take the hairpin turn to the left towards Lavaud and carefully cross the D88 again with a left-right turn.
(7) In the village, ignore the path on the right, then leave the road on the left and head towards the Ruisseau du Trou valley and the intersection you passed on the way there at the bottom of the valley.
(4) Take the path on the right before the stream and follow it. Join a road and follow it to the left.
(8) In the village of La Combe, turn right, then left at the intersection to join the D36.
(9) Carefully cross the D36, follow it to the left and take the path on the right that passes through the hamlet of Le Grand Jarry and joins a road.
(10) Follow the road to the left to join the D36, cross it carefully, follow it to the right and cross the Pont du Frêne bridge.
(11) Cross the picnic area on the left, walk up the valley and return to the intersection you passed on the way there.
(2) Turn right.
(1) Follow the route in reverse to return to the bus stop (S/E).
