Park in the car park by the community hall. Another possible starting point is the Lande Bonnaud car park, after the landmark (2).
(S/E) With your back to the community hall, turn right onto Rue des Primevères and continue to the junction with Rue des Roses. Turn right onto Rue des Roses, continue to Rue de la Forêt and turn right again to cross the village, passing between the Church of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption and the town hall.
(1) Pass Rue de Bel Air on your right – you’ll take this on the way back – and head straight on along the path running alongside the D60 to Fougeré railway station: blue markings.
(2) Behind the station, follow the blue-marked path leading to the Lande Bonnaud car park, which has toilets and picnic tables. From this car park, follow the path running alongside the D60 road until you reach a junction situated almost at the edge of the forest.
(3) Take the path on the right and head towards the little château of La Ricotière.
(4) Follow the small road, turning left at every junction until you reach La Motte.
(5) Cross the D60 with care, walk a few dozen metres to the left, then take the straight road on the right leading to La Noue Sève. Head left and walk for about 250 m.
(6) Turn left and, after about 100 metres, turn right onto the path leading straight to the Étang du Ruisseau de Noailles and its fallow deer park. Continue to the railway line.
(7) Turn left and follow the track back to Fougeré station.
(2) Turn right and return to the village via the path alongside Rue de la Forêt (D60). Continue to the junction with Rue de Bel Air.
(1) Head left to follow this street, then take Rue des Primevères on the right and return to the car park of the community hall (S/E).
