Description of the walk

(S) The walk begins running parallel to the Dorotheenhofer Weg heading north. At the next junction, we turn right and shortly afterwards reach the Salemer Moor.

(1) Viewpoint overlooking the Salemer Moor. Shortly afterwards, we turn right and keep to the left at the next junction. The trail takes us to the shore of Lake Plötschersee (2), which we walk halfway round.

(3) We reach a junction on the circular walking route and follow the path to the left towards Garrensee. Alternatively, you can take a shortcut here and turn right to continue walking round Lake Plötschersee.

(4) We now walk all the way round Lake Garrensee. Along the way, you’ll pass three swimming spots and a few jetties. We then head south along the eastern shore of Lake Plötschersee. At the next junction, we turn right and then take the second left.

(5) We reach a viewing bench above the Schwarze Kuhle. We then turn left and return to the hiking car park (E).
