Description of the walk

Start at the Schneeberg farms: parking available but limited to a maximum of three or four cars.

(S/E) Head north-east towards the Schneeberg Pass: follow the Yellow Cross markings.

(1) At the junction, go straight on to reach the Schneeberg Pass.

(2) Follow the main path straight ahead, due east: marked with Red Cross symbols.

(3) Enjoy the view over Wangenbourg and its castle, then continue

(4) Climb up the small path on the right towards the Rocher de Lottelfels (signpost) before reaching the Refuge du Schneeberg.
