Roc de la Croix

Start from the car park located a few metres before 168 Boulevard de la Forbine (cistern).

(S/E) Take the track opposite and follow it to the next fork. Turn sharply right and continue uphill.

(1) Ignore the track on the left (return) and continue straight ahead. Ignore a downhill track on the right and continue on the track to Col de Galvaudan.

(2) Take the path on the left towards the ridge along the cistern, heading towards "la Croix".

(3) You will come to a steep section where you will need to dismount for a very short distance, then, about 50 metres further on, another difficult section a few dozen metres long where most of us will need to dismount. You will come to a fork about 50 metres before Roc de la Croix.

(4) Continue straight ahead and reach Roc de la Croix for the viewpoint.

(5) Then return a few metres to the previous fork.

(4) Turn right and descend until you reach the route you have already taken (superb for a good driver!).

(1) Turn right and take the path in the opposite direction to the one you took on the way there to reach the car park on Boulevard de la Forbine (S/E).

Partly easy route, but very technical in places.
