The Saint-Étienne Greenway
The Greenway allows you to travel from Bellevue to La Terrasse (or vice versa) via the hills west of Saint-Étienne. The signage is sometimes non-existent, sometimes misleading, and most often inadequate. These are all reasons for proposing this walk with a detailed description. It is possible to split it in two by stopping at Puits Couriot.
The route/description update of 16 August 2020 takes into account the new route from Bellevue.
Assieu-Chavanay
Tenth stage of the Way of St James. This stage will take you to Chavanay on the banks of the Rhône. The final stage before the Massif Central, the route offers several alternatives between theGR® and the paths marked by the Jacquaires associations. Be sure to stay on theGR®65to avoid unnecessary detours. This may not be the most pleasant part of the route, but certain sections, such as Condrieu, are well worth a visit.
