(S) Follow the signs on the left to begin the descent to Fuenblanca.
(1) The descent is a little steep. You may need to use your hands at times.
(3) Continue to follow Fuenblanca.
(3) A slightly exposed passage with chains.
(4) View of the Fuenblanca waterfall. I arrived early in the morning and waited for the sun to illuminate the waterfall.
(5) At the refuge, it is also possible to pitch a tent and spend the night. If you have time, you can climb up to the Anisclo Pass (2 hours).
(6) The entire return journey follows the San Urbez along a clearly marked path. There are some beautiful views of the canyon, but much of the path is through forest, so the view is limited.
(7) Magnificent view for a picnic
(8) Here we enjoy the Sestrales Altos
(E) Descending slowly and enjoying the view, it took me 5 hours to get down from Fuenblanca. The return route passes through several villages and the views are magnificent.
