Description of the walk

(S/E) From the Chalet Edelweiss, follow the access path uphill, cross the Route des Crêtes and continue for 20 metres. Turn right onto theGR®®5path (Red Rectangle), heading towards the Grand Ballon.
The path continues uphill, running parallel to the Route des Crêtes. Most of the route takes you through beech forests of varying density.
