_ Start _: From the car park at Ploumanach's small harbour. Opposite is the tide mill.
(S/E) Looking at the boats, walk along the harbour to the right, and at the end of the tarmac road, turn right.
(1) The path begins and winds further into a wood. You pass a well in the middle of the small forest, hidden by trees. The path continues among large boulders, which are sometimes crossed underneath! In this area, there are several small paths leading to viewpoints offering a breathtaking view of the castle on the island of Costaérès. In this case, simply retrace your steps a little to find the main path again. If you follow the main path, you'll come to a small, sheltered beach with a low wall, where you can sit on a sofa carved out of the wood.
(2) Continue along the path. At Saint-Guirec, pass the chapel and oratory to cross the beach. At the cross opposite, the path picks up again.
The hike continues a little further along a path marked out to preserve the vegetation. Opposite, the 7-island archipelago. Pass a chapel, one of whose facades looks as if it has been machine-gunned.
50m after the chapel, leave the main path and take the one on the left, which leads among the rocks to the Men Ruz lighthouse.
(3) Take the same path back to the main path. The path passes the coastal house and a lifeboat shelter. Just after this, a path leads off to the right towards a parking lot. Don't take it, but continue along the path to the left. A few hundred metres further on, you'll pass a number of houses (on your right), and you'll also see a campsite in the distance. Go round the small Porz Rolland beach.
(4) Leave the coastal path and take the track on your right. Continue straight ahead through the vegetation to reach the clearing where the granite statues are on display.
(5) Exit onto the road, which you follow to the right. At the sign for "École Primaire de Ploumanach", turn left into Rue Traverse. At the end of this street, turn right and continue straight ahead to reach the harbour (S/E) .
