Park near the fountain in the upper part of the village, below the town hall. There are plenty of parking spaces in the streets.
(S/E) Head towards the town hall, then turn right up the street above it and continue to the end.
(1) Take the path to the left of the water reservoir. Follow this path under the holm oaks and arbutus trees: there are passages under beautiful chestnut trees and it is quite shady.
(2) Before reaching the Col de Vergio, take the path on the right: it is the first one on the entire climb.
(3) Turn right again and continue the ascent. Pass the first peak called Punta a e Catarelle.
(4) Keep to the right.
(5) Leave the marked path on the left leading to Sant'Eliseo: there is no longer a path, so follow the ridge.
(6) Summit of Punta San Damiano (994 m): beautiful 360° view. Retrace your steps to return to the start.
(3) Continue straight ahead to reach the Col de Vergio.
(7) Turn left.
(2) Continue straight ahead to return to the starting point at the fountain (S/E).
