Car park opposite the care home
(S/E) Turn left onto Rue de Vézelay, go round the town hall and cross the bridge over the Anguison.
(1) Turn left, follow the river and cross it again. Turn right into the first street, then veer left and carry on straight ahead.
(2) Turn left onto Avenue de la Gare, go past the end of the avenue and turn right at the level crossing. Leave Corbigny via the road to Chitry-le-Mines.
(3) Turn left after the Renault garage and follow the path to the canal.
(4) Continue to the right along the canal to the port of Chaumot.
(5) Cross the main road and follow the canal as far as Combres. There are several things to see along the way: locks, movable bridges over the canal…
(6) At the Chazelles lock, take the path on the right to head back up into Combres until you reach the D985.
(7) Turn left onto the D985, then after 500m turn right towards Cropigny and pass through the hamlet.
(8) Turn right towards Corbigny and cycle through part of the Bois d’Échereau.
(9) As you come out of the woods, take the track on the left (watch out for road bikes! A hybrid or mountain bike is better). You’ll come to a road.
(10) After a few metres on the road, take the second path on the left, which descends (steeply!) down to Corbigny. Pass through Rue de la Coulemelle, then turn left onto Rue de La Morgagne.
Finally, turn right twice to return to the car park (S/E).
