Start from the swimming pool car park.
(S/E) Head towards the far end of the car park, go round the tennis courts on the right until you reach the footbridge.
(1) Cross the footbridge over the Gimone, turn right and walk along the lake. Continue to the right, on the path running alongside the river, until you approach another footbridge.
(2) Without crossing the footbridge, turn left. Carry on to the sewage treatment works.
(3) Go round it on the left. Head back towards the lake. Carry on straight ahead and go under the bridge to reach the small lake.
(4) At the small lake, turn right onto the GR®653 and follow the path straight ahead. Cross the D12 and head for Cahuzac Chapel.
(5) Go round it on the right, then turn left onto the small road that runs alongside the railway line. Carry on until you reach a Fork in the road at the edge of the village.
(6) Carry on along the GR®653 to the left, which crosses a field and then climbs up through a hedge. Join the road.
(7) Turn right onto it. At the junction, turn left onto the Chemin d’Endecis. Continue along a stony track until you reach the second Fork in the road.
(8) Take the dirt track on the left, towards the Vitrac farm. Cross the “Chemin du Tounet” road and continue to the nursery buildings.
(9) Turn right, walk past the gendarmerie, and join the D12.
(10) Cross the road and take the Allée de la Pépinière opposite. At the car park, continue along the grassy path. You’ll come to a dirt track. Turn right, then left, onto the road. Cross two bridges and you’ll reach the stop sign.
(11) Turn left. Go round the building and head towards the car park to pass behind the “Petit Vélodrome”. Walk alongside it and carry on straight ahead to join the Chemin de l’Abattoir. At the junction, turn left into the narrow lane, then continue along a grassy path. Go under the bridge and rejoin the path you took on the way there.
(1) Carry on straight ahead and head back to the car park (S/E).
