Park near the town hall and make your way to the start of the walk at the entrance to the church.
(S/E) Go down the steps to the right of the church. Cross the main road. Turn into Rue de la Fontaine opposite.
(1) At the bottom, turn right onto Rue du Foussat and follow it down to the right. At the bottom, turn left and follow the River Arrats along the stony path, then along a dirt track. Walk alongside a weir. Continue due south until you reach a road.
(2) Carry straight on along this road (GR®653) until you reach the village of L’Isle-Arné. At the Stop sign, turn right (CD40) and cross the bridge.
(3) At the Chapelle de Paillan crossroads, continue to the right along the road for 300 metres towards Aubiet.
(4) Turn left onto the lane leading to the hamlet of Lalanne. Carry on straight ahead along the road, then along a dirt track bordered by woodland. When you reach the road, turn left and continue to a crossroads.
(5) Turn right (leaving the GR®653, which continues to the left) and carry on for 500 metres.
(6) Take the path that veers left and runs alongside a field.
(7) Join the road at Le Gébra, turn right and continue along the road for 700 metres.
(8) Turn right onto Chemin de Tulle. At Mestalem Farm, continue along a dirt track that crosses the Bois de Tulle. Walk down to the road.
(9) Take this road on the left, keeping straight on, until you reach a Stop sign (CD40).
(10) Turn left and, at the bend, carry straight on, passing the water board’s buildings. At the D924, turn right and continue to the village. Walk up the main street and the steps to reach the town hall. You’ll then come to the church and the car park (S/E).
