The starting point is the "Teppe Verte" car park, which can be reached via a tarmac forest road after leaving the D207 departmental road (Col du Grand Cucheron road).
(S/E) Reach the La Jasse hut via the path blocked by a barrier at the start.
(1) To the left of the hut, take the path to a fork marked by a low post with white and pink markings.
(2) Ignore the path branching off to the right and continue slightly uphill to the left.
(3) Ignore the path on the left, continue to the altitude of 1815, then head for the Arbarétan chalet.
(4) From the chalet, note the Pointe de Rognier to the south with its cross standing in the distance. Continue south-west to a fork.
(5) Ignore the path on the right, which will be the return route, and continue straight ahead to reach the Col de la Perche.
(6) Once you reach the pass, turn left and start climbing. The slope becomes steeper and the path less easy to follow.
(7) As you emerge from a sort of chimney, the view opens up in front of you, towards the Arbaréta chalet. Continue along the ridge to reach the foot of the cross that marks the summit of Pointe de Rognier
.
(8) To return, take the same route down to the Col de la Perche, then to the signpost "Vers l'Arbarétan 1880m".
(5) At this sign, leave the path you took on the way up, turning slightly to the left to reach another signpost shortly afterwards for "Vers l'Arbarétan 1885m". Continue along the path on the left which passes along the ridge to reach the Col d'Arbarétan.
(9) Stay on the ridge on the path overlooking the small Lac des Grenouilles. Then, take the Crête des Mollards path to reach the signpost for "Le Grand Chat 1977m".
(10) Continue downhill, still on the ridge, to reach Col du Champet.
(11) At the signpost for "Col du Champet", take the path on your right and continue downhill for about 200m until you reach a crossroads.
(12) At an altitude of 1691 metres, take the path on your left which will take you back to the Jasse hut. Then follow the path you took on the way up to return to the car park (S/E).

Very well presented guide, thank you to the entire Visorando team. Best regards.
