In Tarascon-sur-Ariège, take the D8 to the entrance to Vicdessos. Before the bridge, turn left onto the D208 to Goulier. Then follow signs for Stade de Neige de Goulier Parking 1480.
(S/E) Go to the back of the car park. Do not take the track opposite. Turn left, passing in front of the buildings, and immediately afterwards take a track heading due east.
(1) Follow this track, which climbs in several successive bends. After a wide bend to the right, pass under the Nam ski lift at around 1680 m.
(2) Go around a water reservoir on the left and find a small path in the grass towards the middle.
(3) Follow it first southwards and then westwards. Cross a track and continue to reach an elevation of 1768 metres.
(4) Follow this south-east ridge through the rhododendrons. The path is well marked and climbs steadily to Pic de Sarrasi at an elevation of 2213 metres. Beautiful view of the Siguer valley.
(5) Continue along the south-west ridge. The path is easy going, winding its way between the rocks at times. You will reach Créneau d'Endron.
(6) The path widens as it reaches Pique d'Endron at an altitude of 2,472 metres.
(7) Magnificent view of a multitude of peaks.
To the west, the Pique Rouge de Bassiès. To the south-west, the Pic du Montcalm (3,077 m). To the south, the Pic Malcaras and the peaks on the Andorra border.
The return journey will be along the same route back to the car park (S/E).
