Start from the village hall in Amigny, in the commune of Sancerre.
(S/E) On leaving the village hall in Amigny, head right (north-east) along a road that quickly turns into a dirt track. You will soon come to a fork.
(1) Keep left (go straight on) and note the viewpoint over Sancerre on the right. The descent becomes increasingly steep.
(2) At the junction, continue straight ahead.
(3) At the next junction, take theGR® on the right towards Sancerre (red and white markings). Pass under a high-voltage power line and immediately reach another junction.
(4) Then turn right onto a path running parallel to the high-voltage power line.
(5) Directly opposite the power line, turn right and then left along the path. You will reach the hamlet of Clos Saint-Martin, situated on the left.
(6) Turn right and follow the winding, picturesque path. Walk slightly uphill to a crossroads.
(6) Then turn left and climb slightly.
(1) At the junction you passed at the very start of the walk, turn left and you will soon reach the starting point (S/E).
