(S/E) Starting from Rue de la Grande Closière, the route takes the (brand new) path that runs alongside the Closière Tennis Club and heads towards the south-east corner of Sibérie (the grounds of the Gembloux Horticultural Technical Institute).
(1) It then heads towards La Gotalle and Les Villés, two localities located to the north-east of Corroy-le-Château.
(2) At the entrance to Corroy-le-Château, the route veers left towards the cemetery in the direction of the old powder magazine.
(3) Cross the Bois Grand-Père.
(4) Return to Grand-Manil by following a few paths, sections of village streets and a small footbridge over the Orneau before returning to the starting point (S/E).
This short walk in the Bois Grand-Père takes you on a discovery of the hilly part of the Orneau valley to the south-west of the Grand-Manil district. There are no particular difficulties, except for a little mud on the path in the woods and between the Ferme de Bedauwe and the Orneau.
The perfect family walk, alternating between trails, paved paths, countryside and forest.
