Departure from Place Rabanère.
(S/E) Head east for 20 metres before turning right onto Avenue du Ponant.
(1) At the end, continue right onto Rue du Baty de Fleurus until the next crossroads. Turn left onto the wide, well-maintained path and continue to the bottom of a slight descent.
(2) At the crossroads, continue right on the wide dirt track, which becomes a footpath. Ignore the path that descends to the left and continue straight ahead until you reach the road. Follow this road downhill to the left and, at the next crossroads, keep left and continue towards Bossière. Ignore a road on the left and continue straight ahead until you reach a bus shelter.
(3) Go up the path on the left for 150 m before coming out onto a road. Take this road to the right and join Ferooz via the main road. At the chapel, leave the path that goes off to the left.
(4) Before 14b Rue des Déportés, turn right onto Sentier des Six Bonniers. This wide path becomes a trail. After crossing a small bridge, continue straight ahead on a slight incline to Chapelle Sainte-Anne.
(5) Leave the first path on the left (private property) and continue on the second path. Enjoy the view of the castle and the Ferooz farm and reach a grove.
(6) Turn left for a few metres, then just after the copse, follow a wide stony path on the right, which then becomes grassy.
(7) At the road, continue left and at underground gas tank no. 879, follow the beautiful tree-lined avenue to the left (public right of way) and reach the castle grounds. Turn right and walk along the wall. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead onto Rue des Communes.
(8) At the junction of the road and a path, go straight ahead onto a wide grassy path which becomes a trail at the entrance to the woods. Stay on the trail, as the woods are private property. After a few small hills, you will come to a fork in the trail.
(9) Go down to the right, cross the small bridge and you will reach a crossroads.
(10) Turn left and take the gravel path that climbs to the right. At the road, continue straight ahead for about 100 metres on a small concrete path.
(11) Turn left onto Sentier de la Plouvinette, continue straight ahead to Avenue du Ponant and, after a left-right turn, you will reach Place Rabanère (S/E).
