Description of the walk

Park in the La Chaussée car park, opposite the town hall.

(S/E) Leave the car park and head for Rue de la Porte Noire (D100). Turn right; at the roundabout, follow signs for Sainte-Foy, and walk carefully along the D100.

(1) When you reach a bus stop, ignore the small road on the right (which will be your return route) and continue straight on until you reach the Bois Hulin crossroads. Cross the crossroads and continue for about fifty metres.

(2) Turn right onto Chemin de Longueville.

(3) Turn right to walk alongside the forest, then enter it. Continue to the next junction.

(4) Turn right and walk alongside the apple trees on your right. In April, they are in bloom and the forest is covered with a carpet of wild hyacinths. You’ll reach the road coming from Bois Hulin.

(5) Turn left and follow the road for about a hundred metres, then take the first path on the right for a few metres.

(6) In front of the copse, turn right again onto the Chemin des Forrières and carry on straight ahead until you reach the bus stop.

(1) Turn left onto the D100 towards La Chaussée and walk carefully along the road to the car park (S/E).

Thanks to " Marche " nez en l'air " for their comment. We parked on Rue des Fées and started the hike at point number 2.
We walked 4.4 km in 1 hour and 10 minutes, with a few breaks for our dogs and to drink.
Between plains, fields and forest edges, it was very pleasant.

A very pleasant route, though it’s a shame there’s such a long drive to get to the start of the route – perhaps there’s a car park closer by.
I’m also looking for short routes of 5–6 km in the Dieppe area.
In the meantime, many thanks

A lovely route along a path through a beautiful forest. However, when you arrive at the car park opposite the town hall, if you have a dog, a Malinois will come to greet you and the owner can’t get it back inside, so she’ll ask you to leave so she can get her dog back inside. That’s the only inconvenience, and the apple trees are on the right, not the left.
