Start from the car park at Place de la Mairie in Plomeur.
No signposting
(S/E) Leave the car park with your back to the D785, turn left into Rue Isidore Le Garo and walk past the Notre-Dame de Tréminou primary school.
PR®® signposting (Yellow)
Continue straight ahead along Route de Kerbulig to the crossroads marked by a cross.
(1) Continue straight ahead, reach the Kerbulig farm (note its superb porch) and take a wide lane on the right. Join a road and follow it to the left, turn left again at the next junction and continue to the Saint-Côme Chapel.
(2) Take a wide lane to the right opposite the chapel, turn right twice, pass the Saint-Côme Fountain and reach a small road. Follow it to the left until you reach Kerch’omm.
(3) Turn right onto a wide farm track, follow it until you reach a small road. Continue straight ahead, keeping slightly to the left, and look out for a discreet path on the left opposite a dog kennel. Follow it to reach the Menhirs de Kerfland.
(4) Retrace your steps and continue left until you reach the Route des Piverts. Turn left, pass Kerzivi and reach the D53.
(5) Cross it carefully and take the disused road ahead, which continues as a path along the edge of fields (note the remains of a mill on the right) before reaching a road. Follow it to the right, turn right again, pass a group of houses and take a path on the left. Follow it (note a wash house on the left) and reach Rue ar Feunten.
(6) Follow it to the left, cross the D57 with care and take Rue Ty Lapin, slightly to the left. Follow it, turn left then right and look out for the start of a discreet path on the right.
(7) Take this path, cross a stream via a wooden footbridge and turn right onto a grassy path in the open field. Continue along this path, pass a playground, turn sharply left then right and reach a small road in a housing estate. Follow it to the next junction.
(8) Turn right onto Hent Penker Bloaz Vihan, which curves to the left before reaching the D53. Cross it carefully, continue straight ahead and, after a few dozen metres, take a path on the left to reach the Penkêr ar Bloaz Dolmen. Retrace your steps and continue to the left until you reach the Trevarz Fountain.
(9) Turn left onto a wide lane opposite the fountain, then turn left twice onto a farm track through the fields which goes round a large farm on the right. Continue along the farm access road until you reach the D53.
(10) Cross it carefully and take the small road opposite called Hent ar Sprez. At the end of the road, turn left onto a path that veers to the right before joining a small road.
No signposting
Leave thePR®® and follow this small road to the right to reach the D53.
(11) Cross it carefully, continue straight ahead, pass Kervaen, cross the D785 carefully and reach the Lestrigiou Dolmen on your left. Continue, cross a small road, ignore a path on the left and find the PR®® signpostingagain.
PR®® signposting (Yellow)
(12) Continue along thisPR®® path, which winds through a wetland area, to reach the menhirs of the Madeleine alignment. Turn left onto a stony path, then right to join a small road. Follow it to the Madeleine Chapel (note the three thatched cottages before the chapel).
(13) Enter the chapel grounds and continue along a narrow path past the fountain to reach a small road. Follow it to the right, ignore a road on the right, then turn left onto a path that crosses a stream before joining a road.
(14) Continue straight ahead along a small road which becomes a wide lane after a riding school. Pass Kerboulen (Kerboullenn on the IGN map) and look out for a path marked by a signpost. Follow it to the left for about a hundred metres towards the dolmen ruins. Retrace your steps, continue left along the lane, cross a road and take the gully path straight ahead to reach theGR®®34.
GR®® markings (white and red)
(15) Follow it straight ahead, go round a car park on the left, then turn left to reach the Pointe de la Torche (superb view over Audierne Bay). Take the time to explore the paths around the headland and discover a dolmen and the remains of a covered passageway.
(16) Leave the headland, rejoin theGR®® and turn left after a crêperie. Go round a car park on the left and continue on theGR®® until it meets theGR®® de Pays Bigouden, just after a small bridge.
GRP®® signposting (Yellow and Red)
(17) Continue along theGRP®® until you reach a junction. Leave theGRP®® to the left for a short detour to the Kerharo Vian menhirs. Retrace your steps, rejoin theGRP®®, turn left onto a small road and follow it to the next junction.
(18) Continue straight ahead, past the car park and the imposing buildings of the Kaandorp farm on your right (florist and wholesale greengrocer), cross a small road and reach another road. Follow it to the left to the Saint-Budoc Chapel.
No signposting
(19) Retrace your steps for a few dozen metres and take a small road on the left at the next junction; follow it (note the covered walkway on the right), pass through the hamlet of Kerrugou, ignoring all roads or paths branching off to the left or right, and reach Keregar.
(20) Turn left, cross a road and continue straight ahead along a wide lane that curves to the right. At the end of the lane, turn left onto a small road which becomes a path and turns sharply left then right before crossing a road. Follow it to the right and join the D785 at Plomeur (note a medieval cross on the left).
(21) Follow it to the left with care, cross a roundabout, go round the churchyard and turn right to reach the starting car park (S/E).
