Departure from the "Capitainerie" car park.
(S) Head north and cross the dyke.
(1) At the intersection, turn right and continue along the path, keeping alongside the riverbank.
(2) Go down the path along the riverbank and rejoin the forest road.
(3) Follow the road to the end of the peninsula under the Grand Brotteau. Go down to the riverbank and follow the path that goes around the peninsula and continues along the riverbank to a second peninsula.
(4) Turn left onto the Promenade des Lézards. Continue along the Promenade de la Mama, then the Promenade de la Vorla, still along the riverbank.
(5) Turn right, cross the dyke and follow the road along the water's edge to the promontory (information board about birds living in and passing through this park).
(6) Continue until you reach a bird observatory.
(7) Retrace your steps and follow the road along the riverbank.
(8) Take the footpath on the right, which will take you back to the starting point (S/E).
