Park in one of the car parks next to the fish drying racks, or after the sea wall if the first ones are full. Do not park in front of the drying racks; observe the parking restrictions.
(S/E) Start heading west, following the coastline and passing a fish dryer on your right. Several small paths on your left lead to the seashore, but ignore them and continue along a series of short ascents and descents, then pass through a sort of corridor between two rocks.
(1) Cross a first, then a second scree slope. Look for the cairns that clearly mark the route. Go around a rock several dozen metres high. The path is not very clear in this area, so stay alert. Then go around the mountain and head north-northwest.
(2) In a maze of large granite rocks, go through two short natural tunnels. The first is marked with a red T at the entrance. The second is marked by a small cairn. Gain height by following the path, which becomes increasingly steep.
(3) When you reach the pass, you will be overlooking the route you took a short while ago. Turn left, then take the second path on the right, into a vast high-altitude meadow. Finally, keep following the path furthest to the left, heading north-east, and climbing slightly (do not turn back onto a path coming from the left).
(4) At the rock, join a well-marked trail and turn left towards the summit of the hike. The climb is steep but fairly short.
(5) Enjoy the view, then retrace your steps to the previous fork.
(4). Continue straight ahead on the main trail, passing a first and then a second trail on your left.
(6) Continue straight ahead and begin the steep descent. Go down a series of stone steps and slippery, unpaved passages. At the next intersection, take the path on the right. Finally, you will reach the road and, on the right, the car parks next to the fish drying racks (S/E).
