In the Olmi-Cappella and Mausoléo forests, Genoese bridges and mill ruins
One can only admire the tremendous work of man carving a beautifully paved path along these narrow valleys to connect the villages or access the mills. Stone is everywhere, both on the trail and in the village of Mausoléo. The Tartagine invites you to swim or cool off. As for the bridges, what harmonious curves! An unmissable hike.

The Agriates Desert from Ostriconi

Ostriconi - Cala di Vana
A short circuit in the Agriates Desert with little elevation gain, some shaded areas and a refreshing breeze from the sea. Pretty trails with beautiful views of the Agriates Desert and the sea. The path winds along a beautiful marked trail to the Prunincu Refuge, then continues to climb through beautiful vegetation to the ridge overlooking the Puleghio ravine. To reach the summit, you will need to climb over some rocks (caution advised for those prone to vertigo). From Monte Astu, there is a magnificent view over the eastern plain, stretching as far as Île Rousse and the bay of Saint-Florent.
Monte Grosso via Melaja
Ascending Monte Grosso via the Melaja Forest. A breathtaking view from the summit over the whole of Balagne, the Agriates and Cap Corse in the distance.
A fairly difficult hike, but shorter than if you start from Calenzana.

Pleasant in early autumn. No particular difficulty except for the slightly steep climb between the convent and Mont Sant Angelo.
Walk in the woods at Avapessa
This short circular starting from the village of Avapessa is short and easy, making it ideal for family walks with children, for example. The fact that much of the route is shaded makes it ideal for summer walks.

La Pieve d'Aregno - Lavatoggio - Sant'Antonino circular loop
Sant'Antonino is located in the heart of Balagne, perched at an altitude of 500 metres on a granite peak near L'Île-Rousse and Calvi, between the sea and the mountains. The village overlooks the Aregno plain on one side and part of the Reginu plain on the other. A veritable eagle's nest, it consists of around 75 houses, built close together and winding around a granite peak, forming a labyrinth to better resist any invaders (Source: Wikipedia).
