Parking: Rue de la Promenade (D77), opposite the wine house.
(S/E) From the car park, take Avenue d'Assignan (D177) for 200 m.
(1) Take Rue des Jardins on the right. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead and turn left at the end. At the calvary, turn onto the road on the right. Cross the riverbed and continue along the tarmac road lined with vines (view of the Roc de Notre-Dame opposite).
(2) After the second crossroads, take the footbridge over the Vernazobre and pass the old Rive mill.
(3) Take the D177E6 on the left (be careful!), cross the bridge and take the road on the right for 300 metres. Go up to the left along the concrete track.
(4) At the top of the hill, take the path on the left. Go around the vineyard and continue climbing along the road towards the Notre-Dame rock.
(5) From the Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth (mentioned in 1102 in the charter of Bertrand, Archbishop of Narbonne), descend via the Way of the Cross through the pine forest. Continue along the track until you reach the road.
(6) Take the D177E6 on the right (be careful!) and, before the bridge, take the path on the left. Cross the stream and climb the track for 1.5 km until you reach a crossroads (mazet).
(7) Go up to the right for 350 m until you reach the crossroads.
(8) Access to the village of restored drystone shelters (belvedere): take the path on the right and retrace your steps.
(8) On the way back, continue straight ahead along the small balcony path (do not stray from the path). It leads to the mill (views of Saint-Chinian, the Vernazobre valley, the Avants-Monts and, in the background, the Caroux massif).
(9) Take the D20 on the left for 20 metres, then, after the bridge, take the path on the right. At the reservoir, go down the path on the left. Take the D20 on the right for 15 metres.
(10) Take the path on the left, then follow the Chemin des Aires.
(1) Turn right onto Avenue d'Assignan to return to the car park (S/E).
