Description of the walk

After leaving the lodge (S), cross the Ngadi River via the bamboo footbridge. Then walk all the way along the rice fields before tackling a steep climb to reach the village of Bahundanda.

(1) We then began a steep descent along the right bank of the Marsyanghi to the Syange footbridge.

(2) Cross the Marsyanghi before a final steep climb to reach the Jagat lodge (E).

Notes

Rockfalls, footbridges, climbs and descents: that’s the day’s programme. The bamboo footbridge spanning the river to bypass the large rockfall was a highlight which, in hindsight, turned out to be easy.
