Park in the Moulin au Pont de Charlot car park.
(S/E) Walk along the road past the mill, cross the bridge and turn right at the T-junction.
(1) At the first path on your left, climb up to a place called Le Cocut.
(2) Continue along the road to the X-junction, then take the road opposite you to the next junction at a place called La Brande.
(3) Turn left onto the D133, pass Grand Barrail and, at the Y-junction, continue to the right. Cross the woods to reach the hamlet of Le Chareau.
(4) Just before the crossroads, turn left between the houses to join another road a few metres further on, which you should take on the left. Pass the isolated house of Bel-Air, turn left at the T-junction and ignore the first Y-junction to continue straight ahead.
(5) About 50 metres further on, turn right and then right again just before the houses. The road becomes a track. Follow it until you reach the D133E11 at the edge of the woods, which you should follow downhill to the left for 50 metres.
(6) Before the bridge and the railway line, turn left again onto the path through the woods. Keep going in the same direction to follow the Guitres narrow-gauge railway line.
(7) At the exit, turn left onto the road and, 20 metres further on, turn right onto the path that will take you along the Ruisseau de Godicheau stream and then around the pond on the right.
(8) At the end, you will need to climb the stairs on the right, which will take you back to the railway line. Cross the line and go down another set of stairs to the other side of the stream. Then walk along the pond to the car park (S/E).
