Update by the author on 05/08/2025: minor adjustment to the comment recommending not to head towards Molard de Netru at the start (S/E); the route includes a few steep slopes between points (2) and (3), which are easier to negotiate in the direction indicated.
The starting point is located in Chancia at a place called La Cize, Chemin de Nezan.
There are no signposts but the route is clearly visible.
(S/E): Go down Chemin de Nezan without heading towards Molard de Netru (this is the route taken on the way back), then continue to the small roundabout just after the cemetery.
Take the street on the right, then just after crossing Rue du Jura (D60E2), take Rue du Village located just opposite. Not far away, turn right onto Rue de la Fontaine. Very quickly, continue on a path that descends sharply into a small alley.
At the bottom, continue along a path on the right alongside the lake (nice views).
(1) A little further on, head towards the small beach near a restaurant, then continue straight ahead on a path running alongside the lake (more views).
You will come to a small road; turn right to cross a field at the edge and join the D60E2.
Yellow markings + signposts
(2) Cross this road. According to the signpost, you are now at a place called Sur la Charrière. Take the path towards Molard de Netru. It climbs relatively gently at first, then much more steeply for a short while (there are some steps in poor condition).
Higher up, you will reach a beautiful viewpoint over Lac de Coiselet. 50 metres further on, you will arrive at the summit of Molard de Netru
(3). Summit of Molard de Netru. There is a beautiful viewpoint on the right.
Continue along the trail towards Lantenne (l'Antenne according to the signpost). Be careful, some sections may be slippery. At the T-junction, turn right.
(4) The trail quickly joins a track at a place called Lantenne. Turn right towards Chancia to return to the starting point (S/E).
