Park on Place du Champ de Foire (Rue de la Croix Picot on the D115)
(S/E) Head towards the school and follow the signs with little red and green figures. Go around the school to take the path that leads to the housing estate. Cross the roundabout and, after 50 metres, turn right onto a path that goes around a field to reach Impasse Pounivelle.
(1) At the road, follow the yellow markings. Continue straight ahead, then turn left at a junction about 400 metres away.
(2) Turn right onto the winding white path and, when you reach the road, turn left onto another white path.
(3) After a bend, leave the yellow marked path and take a new white path on the right. When you reach the road, turn left.
(4) At Port Goron, rejoin the yellow marked route by turning right and continuing straight ahead.
(5) Leave the white path and take a trail on the left, continuing straight ahead to reach the marsh (educational signs).
Follow the path along the cove (watch out for nutria holes and slippery footbridges in wet weather - see alternative route in Practical Information) and turn left when you reach a path.
(6) At the first crossroads, turn right. At the end of the straight road, take the path on the right and, after the footbridge, continue until you reach a new white path.
(7) Turn right, cross the Rigole de Rimombœuf and continue around the marsh until you reach the next junction on the left.
(8) Turn left, then right at the road. When you reach the D180, cross over to take the white path opposite. Turn left at the road and continue to a three-way junction.
(9) Take the stony path on the left just after the apiary (old railway line). Cross the road and continue along a white path. Pass in front of the old station.
(10) Turn right just before the bridge. After the port, continue to the right on Rue du Château.
After the bend, turn right into the small car park at the Foyer Communal and continue along the small shaded path at the back of the car park. Turn right onto Rue du Riveau.
(11) Turn left onto Rue de Richebert. Note the wash house on the right.
Continue and turn right onto Rue du Pigeonnier. Note the dovecote on the right and, a little further on, the bread oven currently being restored.
At Rue du Stade (D115), turn left and take the path behind the hedge on the right-hand side of the street.
Opposite the church, turn right onto Rue du Moulin and walk for about 150 metres.
(12) Leave the street and enter the alley on the left (sign for "Lavoir du Révérend" and small gate).
At the end of the alley, turn left and back to visit the wash house, then continue following the signs. The path crosses a ditch and then passes between houses to reach Rue du Rimonboeuf, where you should turn left and then left again into Rue de la Panification, where the wash house of the same name is located.
Go behind the church (note the unusual winch hanging from the bell tower) and turn right at the crossroads. Continue to the right on Rue de la Fontaine, pass in front of the Grande Fontaine wash house and continue to Place du Champ de Foire 100 metres to the left (S/E).
