Description of the walk

Start at the Raymond Faucher Stadium, Avenue de l’Industrie in Malemort-sur-Corrèze. Park along the last stadium (when coming from the D14).

(S/E) Cross the railway line and turn immediately left onto the tarmac path, which quickly becomes a stony track.

(1) After about 500 to 600 metres, turn left into a small tunnel that passes under the railway line. Continue along the field on your left until you reach the banks of the Corrèze, where there’s a small sandy beach: a real treat on hot days. Retrace your steps.

(1) After exiting the tunnel, turn left to rejoin the original path. Turn right at another tunnel, then left. Continue until you reach a junction on the right near Les Escures.

(2) Turn round and follow the same path in the opposite direction to return to the stadium (S/E).

Notes

Large car park at the start, alongside the stadiums.
Dogs are allowed off the lead on this walk.
It’s a shame this route runs alongside the railway line, but fortunately there are very few trains!

The walk ends before we’ve had a chance to go through the tunnel... Access is closed due to engineering works... What a shame.

A lovely, easy little walk for the whole family, and a great way to spend time with pets.
Well worth doing again and again to keep fit and enjoy a relaxing time.
