Longas Castle Circular Walk
This walk starts in the centre of the village of Sainte-Foy-de-Longas, taking us to Longas Castle and on to the “Les Fargues” plateau, which offers magnificent views.
It requires walking along the D32 for 400 metres both on the way there and back. The rest of the route is pure bliss.
Saint-Marcel-du-Périgord circular route via Tiregand and Moulin Pommier
Starting from Saint-Marcel-du-Périgord, an easy walk between the Barbeyrol valley and the Louyre valley. Beautiful paths and very few roads.
The River Louyre between Liorac-sur-Louyre and Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix
Starting from Liorac-sur-Louyre, the route crosses the Louyre valley, joins and follows the Roman road to reach Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix, passing by the feudal motte. The rest of the route crosses the valley and the River Louyre once more, then passes through the Barbeyrol Valley and the Sérouze Valley, both of which are tributaries of the River Louyre.

The local council has created this route, which takes you past two majestic castles and picturesque hamlets away from the main roads. The route alternates between roads, forest tracks and woodland paths.
