The three ponds in the Sillé Forest

Park near the Gîte du Lac. Spaces available at the start of the Route Forestière des Molières.

(S/E) From the lodge, turn left then head right along the Grand Étang. You will then reach a crossroads near the sailing club.

(1) Cross the roads to reach the opposite side. Then take the path that starts to the right of the road. Keep to the right again to reach the Étang du Moulin.

(2) Continue along the path, then, at the road, keep to the right before taking the path on the left. You will then pass close to the Coco Plage leisure centre. Keep to the right at the junction, pass by the zip lines and arrive at the tennis courts.

(3) Cut across the Route Forestière des Chalets before reaching a junction.

(4) Head straight ahead, pass two forks and reach a third.

(5) Turn right and cross the main road to reach the Ligne Noire.

(6) Turn right, then immediately left onto the Route Forestière de la Jument Blanche. Then stay on the path to the right before turning sharply left. At the top of the climb, keep right, cross a stream before climbing again and reaching a junction.

(7) Turn right and then continue straight ahead at the multi-way junction to reach another one.

(8) Continue straight on until you reach the road. Cross the road and reach the peaceful Étang des Molières.

(9) Then continue straight on to the Lodge du Lac (S/E).
