Start from the car park of the former town hall in Nods, in the heart of the village, along the main street.
(S/E) Walk past the grocery shop (open every morning, including weekends), leave the village and turn left to go under the main road (tunnel).
(1) Continue and at the junction take the road on the right.
(2) Walk past the statue of the Virgin Mary, following the road. The return leg of the circular route will take you along the path behind the statue. Pass a fork in the road.
(3) At the junction, leave the road via the path that veers slightly to the right to reach a dirt track.
(4) Leave the path and follow the forest road to the left until you reach a pasture.
(5) Leave the forest road and take the pasture on the right, crossing it towards the main road, which you must not cross.
(6) At the end, head into the forest along a dirt track slightly to the left.
(7) At the junction, leave the forest road and follow the forest path to the left.
(9) Take the 3 metal footpath/mountain bike crossings (1st crossing: cross the pasture; 2nd crossing: head back towards the farms;
(9) Third crossing (installed in 2026) to continue along the path on your left before the farms
(10) Take the path on the right which climbs into the forest.
(11) At the junction by the hunting lodge, take the road down to the left. Turn left at the junction and continue straight on.
(12) At the junction, leave the road and take the path leading down to the right to reach a fork.
(13) Follow the path to the right.
(14) At the path junction, take the path on the left and reach another fork. Turn left until you reach the junction.
(15) Keep to the right and, further on, turn sharply left. You will arrive behind the statue of the Virgin you passed on the way out.
(2) Take the road on the right and follow the route back in the opposite direction to return to the village (S/E).
