Les Premiers Sapins: Rantechaux circular

Start at Rantechaux church, where there is a car park in front of it with a sign indicating the start of the walk (map, route and QR code).

Follow the yellow markings.
Hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, easy route.

(S/E) With your back to the church, turn left towards Vanclans. Turn left again on the road, then left again.

(1) At the crossroads, take the left-hand road, leaving the main road.

(2) At the intersection, continue straight ahead, leaving a white path on your left. Continue to the next fork.

(3) Follow the road. Do not take the path opposite. You will reach a fork.

(4) Continue right on this road without entering the forest.

(5) At the crossroads, you can go straight ahead on the path to reach the Cicon du Haut viewpoint (picnic table above the metal stairs) and return. Otherwise , continue straight ahead to reach a crossroads.

(6) Leave the road and go straight ahead into the pasture (animals may be present: cows or horses).

(7) Leave the pasture and enter the forest for a change in vegetation.

(8) At the end of the path, take a wide path on the left.

(9) Leave the forest road and take a pretty path on the right until you reach a fork.

(10) Take the path on the right and reach a fork.

(11) Follow the path on the left before reaching the crossroads.

(12) Continue through the forest on the path on the left until you reach a fork.

(13) Continue on the left. At the road, go straight ahead and reach a fork in the road.

(14) Take the road on the right to reach the village. Keep left until you reach the cemetery, then turn right. After the turn, take Rue de l'Eglise on the left to reach the car park (S/E).
