A superb hike starting from Lac d’Esparron. The first part of the ascent winds through a dense and majestic forest, which is undoubtedly very pleasant for its coolness in summer. Upon reaching the edge of the Clapouse pastures, the landscape suddenly opens up to a magnificent panorama. The final part of the ascent takes place in open country, amidst a rugged, rocky landscape that feels almost timeless. At the summit of Costebelle, a breathtaking 360° view awaits you.
