(S/E) Leave the car park at the tourist office, cross the D79/Boulevard du 17 Août 1944 at the pedestrian crossing and take Rue Saint-Félix opposite.
(1) Turn left onto Grand Rue and, at the town hall, turn right onto Rue des Trois-Ormeaux, then take the alleyway on the right. Cross the ford, climb the stairs and join a road on the left.
(2) Go up Chemin de Belle Barbe on the right, which winds through a residential area to an intersection.
(3) Turn left onto Chemin des Moines. At a fork after a restored stone farm building (beautiful view of Le Thoronet), leave the road and take a small path opposite near an oratory (20 m), then take the tarmac path opposite.
(4) This turns into a track winding between vineyards, olive groves and forest. You will come to a fork.
(5) Follow the path to the right, leaving the TRT03 cistern on your right and a small stone house on your left. At the bottom of the slope, continue to the left to reach the hamlet of Le Clapier.
(6) Just after thefirst house, take the lane on the right (Greek statue decoration) and continue downhill on the road on the right until you reach a crossroads.
(7) Turn left onto Chemin du Moutas, following the Sainte-Croix Canal. Cross the hamlet, continuing straight ahead (do not take Chemin du Haut Moutas), until you reach a metal barrier.
(8) Follow the path to the banks of the Argens. You can access a beach via a path on the right just after the vineyards (swimming prohibited).
(9) Retrace your steps to the crossroads near the river.
(7) Continue straight ahead, following the Sainte-Croix Canal on your left, then the road (be careful to go straight ahead and not turn back towards the hamlet of Le Clapier).
(10) At house no. 731, cross the bridge and take the path on the right (before the fire hydrant). Go under an aqueduct and continue straight ahead into the forest. At a fork, go straight up the path to reach a hamlet. Continue on the road to the left to cross the hamlet of Le Villard and arrive at a fork at the end of the hamlet.
(1) Turn right at the bus stop onto the tarmac road (GR®51and Chemin de Compostelle) and return to the crossroads you passed on the way out.
(4) Turn left and follow the same route back to the car park (S/E).
