In Nadaillat, park in the cemetery car park at the bottom south of the village.
(S/E) Look for the yellow signs opposite the cemetery, on the other side of the road. Take the path towards the viewpoint. Further on, ignore a path on the right, then pass a cross. Immediately after, the path turns right. You will come to an intersection.
(1) Follow a wide red dirt track on the right. Continue along this track for about 700 metres, ignoring the paths branching off to the left. You will come to an intersection marked with a yellow sign for "Trulière".
(2) Turn left towards Tertre de Fontarbre. At the next intersection, look for the signpost marked "Tertre de Fontarbre". Turn left. This path offers a beautiful unobstructed view to the south over the Veyre valley.
(3) At the next intersection, turn right to head west again. About 500 metres further on, ignore a path on the left. Further on, pass a farm building on your right.
(4) Shortly afterwards, at an intersection marked with the signpost "Pré Montrant", continue straight ahead. About 150 metres further on, ignore a path on the left and then, shortly afterwards, at an intersection, you will see a slightly fallen signpost, "Yvée". Turn right here. Further on, you will see a stone trough on the right-hand side of the road, then pass some recent houses as you approach the village of Rouillat Haut. In this village, take note of the beautiful street signs made of enamelled lava. You will also see signs illustrating fables.
(5) You will come to a street, Chemin de la Serre, at the "Rouillat Haut" signpost. Turn left. Further on, pass Rue du Coudet on your right. Immediately after, at the intersection, continue on the road to the right. Ignore a street on your right and continue on the road, which soon turns right. On your right, you will see a small chapel and a beautiful enamelled lava sculpture illustrating the tale of "The Farmer and His Children". Go around the chapel on the left, then take the street on the right, at the wash house surrounded by a low wall, Chemin de la Varenne. Ignore Rue du Coudet on the right. Further on, at an intersection, keep to the right and ignore Chemin de la Serre, which branches off to the right, and continue along Chemin de la Varenne, which turns left. You will come to a road. Opposite, you will see a final enamelled lava panel illustrating the tale of "The Cat Turned into a Woman".
(6) Turn right onto the road and stay on the left-hand side. In the wide bend, turn onto the path that climbs to the left. Further on, the path turns right. The climb levels out before an intersection. Continue to the right. About 250m further on, you will come to another intersection marked with the sign "Chaland".
(7) Turn left. At the next intersection, about 300 metres further on, you will see the signpost marked "Champeyroux". Continue to the left, either along the path or the trail that runs parallel to it. A few metres further on, the two converge into a single trail. Further on, ignore a path on the left and then, at the next crossroads, continue straight ahead.
(8) At the intersection marked with the signpost "les Condamines", turn right. Gain altitude again on this beautiful path through the woods. Further on, the path becomes flatter, then begins to descend.
(9) Ignore a path on the right. A little further on, ignore another path on the right that leads to a meadow. The path gradually leaves the forest.
(10) Go through a gate (which may be open or closed, depending on the season) and continue along the path through beautiful pastures. Further on, the path becomes a track. Pass a water tank on your right and continue to the junction with a road at the "l'Oradoux" signpost.
(11) Cross over to continue on the path opposite and enter Nadaillat. You will come to a road; follow it to the right. Ignore four streets on the right to reach Route de la Serre, which crosses the village. Follow it to the right for a few metres to reach the signpost marked "Nadaillat". Turn right towards the church. Go up to the right of the church to discover an old "travail à ferrer" (a place where horses were shoed), which now houses a book box. Return to the road, pass in front of the church and the old adjoining cemetery, and continue downhill to reach the cemetery (S/E).

great circuit, small path, flower-filled meadows and, above all, the enamelled plaques at Rouillas Haut are very beautiful. A must-do...
