(S/E) From Place de l'Église, go down Rue des 4 Frères de Villèle, then turn right onto Rue de la Croix Thomas and continue for 700 metres.

(1) At the wayside cross on the left, take the dirt track, also on the left. Follow it to reach the D676.

(3) Pass the wash house on your right and take Rue du Tram, which quickly becomes a path. Further on, cross the road carefully and continue opposite on a stony path.

(4) 50 metres before the junction with a road, take the path on the left, cross the Ruisseau de Coëtquen stream, and continue through the undergrowth to the junction.

(5) Take the road opposite, go around a pond and turn left at the first crossroads.

(6) In front of the farmhouse, take the road on the right for 80 metres, then continue left until you reach the second stony path on the left.

(7) Go up this path, join a road and cross it. Opposite, take a path that enters the Mesnil National Forest. Cross a wooden footbridge and follow the large avenue on the right.

(8) At the crossroads, turn right to reach the covered path of the Maison des Fées. Turn left just after the covered path. The winding path passes two forest paths, then joins a crossroads in a small clearing.

(9) Continue straight ahead on a path that becomes winding, and follow a wide forest lane lined with conifers on the left. At the crossroads, follow the embankment on the left. Continue straight ahead until you reach a road.

(10) Cross over and take the path opposite that leads into the undergrowth to reach the D73 at a place called Le Point du Jour.

(11) Cross the departmental road with caution and follow the path opposite. Continue straight ahead , passing the crossroads, until you reach a place called Le Chêne.

(12) At the crossroads, cross the D676 carefully and continue towards Ville-Bret. The path continues for about 1 km until you reach the hamlet of Le Porche. Follow the road to the right until you reach the crossroads with the D118.

(13) Take the road on the left, cross the Molène bridge and take the dirt track opposite, which slopes upwards. After 400 m, take the path on the left, which runs alongside a line of trees, then a slightly downhill lane, which joins the D118.

(14) Follow this road to enter Miniac-Morvan, pass a school and, at the church, turn right to arrive at Place de l'Église (S/E).

Details in the photo comments.

Le Gué Briand:
Located at the northern end of the commune, Le Gué Briand is one of the main villages in Tressé. Most of the buildings date from the19th century. Some buildings indicate a more ancient settlement dating back tothe 17th century.

La Malouinère de Bas Miniac (private property):
Inthe 12th century, a fortified castle owned by Morvan de Miniac stood on this site. It was destroyed by the Malouins during the Wars of the League. The castle chapel was rebuilt from 1654 onwards by the Claviers, lords of Miniac, replacing the one that had been destroyed by the League. The Malouinière was built in 1749 on the former site of the fortified castle. The dovecote was built around 1650 during the construction of the chapel. The 1,000 holes in the interior walls reflect the extent of the Miniac seigneury's lands.
The chapel can be seen from the road.

The house of Blessed Thérèse Fantou:
At 8 Rue de la Bienheureuse Thérèse Fantou, you can see the house where Thérèse Fantou (1747-1794) lived. This nun refused to swear allegiance to the Constitution and was guillotined in Cambrai, a martyr for her faith, on 26 June 1794. She was proclaimed blessed.

Saint Peter's Church in Miniac-Morvan:
In the past, the church of Miniac-Morvan was located in the village of Vieux-Bourg. Its establishment in the current village dates back tothe 14th century, but it was rebuilt in the18th century. The church, built in 1747, is shaped like a Latin cross and has a bell tower. It houses a17th-century wooden altarpiece and high altar, which are listed as historic monuments. In front of the church is a16th-century monolithic calvary.
