Description of the walk

Departure from the car park at the community centre.

(S/E) Head towards the road coming from Saint-Pabu, cross it and walk along the cemetery wall. At the corner of the cemetery, turn left to visit the area around the church and the fountain.

(1) Retrace your steps and turn left. Follow Chemin des Lavoirs (Streat ar Feunteuniou) straight ahead to reach Chemin des Dunes (Hent an Tevenn).

(2) Turn right, then left at the first crossroads and cross the bridge over Le Ribl stream.

(3) Turn left towards the dune.

(4) After about 200 m, take a small path through the dune that will lead you to the prehistoric site of the Pont ar Bleiz covered passage. Turn left towards the sea and take a wooden footbridge over the Ribl.

(5) Follow the GR® 34 to the left along the Plage des Trois Moutons.

(6) Cross the bridge over the Frout and arrive at Pointe de Penn ar Pont (seaweed oven).

(7) Continue on the GR® 34 trail, enjoying a beautiful view of Tréompan Beach and its islets on your right.

(8) At Rocher du Serpent (Roc'h ar Sarpant), turn left to descend towards a car park. Cross it and join a road running alongside the Tréompan campsite on your left. Turn left and walk alongside the campsite. After the campsite, you can walk on the dune again at the side of the road.

(9) At the crossroads with the stony path leading to the beach, cross the tarmac road to reach the picnic area on your right. Cross it, turn right and then immediately left. You are now back on the Chemin des Dunes. Walk for a few hundred metres to reach the bread oven.

(10) Turn right onto Route de la Plage and follow it to the left towards the village of Lampaul-Ploudalmézeau. Pass the town hall and you will arrive at the corner of the cemetery.

(11) Turn left, walk along the cemetery and turn right to reach the Foyer Rural car park (S/E).
