Park in the car park at the town hall in Le Rozier.
(S/E) When leaving the car park, take the Route de Capluc opposite. Follow it to the first bend, where you leave it to take a staircase that climbs up to the small road in the upper bend. Take the road uphill and you will soon come to a path. This climbs up the hillside in a general east-northeast direction. Pass directly below the Rocher de Capluc, a large rock equipped with ladders for climbing.
(1) Continue along the path and, at a fork, ignore the Jacques Brunet trail that branches off to the left (sign). Continue eastwards. The slope quickly rises in very regular switchbacks through the forest. You will come to a perpendicular trail (GR®6 on the left, GRP® on the right).
(2) Turn left and follow theGR®6until you reach an intersection. Then climb up to a small pass (CAF stele) following theGR®6towards Cassagnes.
(3) Follow the Martel trail (red and white markings) along the northern slope of the Corniche du Tarn. Walk along the cliff face of the Francbouteille rock, then follow the contour line along a wide path with several views of the semi-troglodytic hamlets of Églazines and Saint-Marcellin.
You will arrive at the junction with the Fontaine du Teil (50 m below), a source of drinking water that is often dry in the height of summer.
(4) Stay on theGR®6until you reach another trail junction.
(5) Turn left towards Rocher de Cinglegros (1,800 m) via a beautiful path through the woods, leaving theGR®6. The path is magnificent and shaded with beautiful views of the Gorges du Tarn. You then pass near the source of the Biendous.
(6) Follow the Sentier Martel to the left, descending, and you will quickly reach the access trail to Cinglegros (yellow sign). This trail is quite vertiginous with three ladders and a few staples on the descent (passages des 3 fondus) before reaching the foot of the rock. The climb is via several ladders, the last of which is a little wobbly. The reward is at the top with a breathtaking panorama.
(7) Return by the same route until you reach the junction with the path to Cassagnes.
(6) Follow the trail to the left towards Bourgarié, which quickly becomes a wide path climbing towards a small pass. Descend through the woods.
(8) Take a right onto a carriageway towards theGR®6.
(9) Turn right onto theGR®6, leaving it at the next crossroads and following the red and yellowGRP® markings to the left. Descend southwards along a forest track, then take a path to reach the ledge.
(10) Stay on theGR®6, leaving it at the next crossroads and following the red and yellowGRP® markings to the left. Head south down a forest track, then take a path to reach the cliff edge.
(11) Follow the cliff edge westwards. Several tracks to the left lead to viewpoints over the Jonte Gorges and the village of Truel. The most remarkable viewpoint is at the "Balcon du Vertige" with its handrail over the void!
(12) Continue through a more rugged area to move away from the ledge and reach a pierced rock and then the "Pas du Loup" with its metal gate. You will arrive at the nearby "Vase de Chine", a magnificent monolithic rock. We quickly reach the "Vase de Sèvres". A trail just after the Vase de Sèvres leads to a beautiful view of the end of the Jonte and Peyreleau gorges.
(2) Return to theGR®6and follow it to the left to descend to Le Rozier via the same route as on the way up. (S/E)

, the return on the ledges between points 10 and 12 is quite vertiginous but the views are magnificent
