(S) Take the small road above the cemetery, which is on your left.
(1) Between two houses, take the dirt track along the fir trees, go down to the stream, cross it and go up the other side. The track becomes a path.
Continue along this path. The track becomes passable and there is an isolated house on the left. Continue along this track.
(2) When you reach a tarmac road, turn right and then take the path furthest to the left that runs alongside the meadow. Enter the beech forest, cross the stream and take the path furthest to the left.
(3) Cross a patch of fir trees, ignore the path that descends to the left, and continue straight ahead.
(4) You will come to a crossroads; continue straight ahead, ignoring the paths to the right and left.
You will reach the highest point of the hike.
At the next crossroads, turn left and follow the path downhill.
(5) You will arrive at a tarmac road, where the route is now marked in yellow. Turn left to cross the hamlet of Le Thyoïs. As you pass, take a look at the Thyois railway station and take the time to read its history.
At the exit of the hamlet, leave the road that leads to the 'Dairy Farm Neuve' on your left.
(6) Take the small road that climbs to the left at the cross. Follow the path between the holly and hazelnut trees. Follow it to the end.
At the small road, turn right and then right again at the first fork.
(7) Before entering the farm, behind the shed, take the small path on the left. You will enjoy views of the stadium, the swimming pool and the round tower of Lacaune.
Follow this path downhill to reach the road. You are now on Rue Flandre Dunkerque. Turn left and, at the end of the street, turn left again to return to the starting point (E).
