Departure from Arronville, Place du Carrouge, at the Relais d'Arronville car park.
(S/E) Go straight ahead and walk up Rue de la Mairie.
(1) At the Y-junction, take the right-hand branch.
Follow the road for 1.2 km.
(2) Take the farm track on the left.
After 400 m, take the road on the right.
Continue straight ahead until you reach the D 105 road. Follow the road to the left, then turn right onto the path on the right 150 m further on.
After 200 m, turn right at the T-junction, then left 50 m further on.
(3) At the next Y-junction, take the left fork.
Continue straight ahead for approximately 1.6 km. At the end of the road, turn left onto the D 121 road, then take the farm track on the right 150 m further on.
Continue for 700 metres. At the T-junction, turn left. You will see the roof of the chapel in the distance.
After 700 metres, turn left, then right 100 metres further on. Pass through the hamlet of La Trinité and continue straight ahead until you reach the D 121 road.
(4) Follow it on the right until you reach the entrance to Hénonville. At the crossroads, turn right onto the D 105, then immediately left onto Rue de Méru.
Enter the village, pass in front of the castle, Rue Bamberger.
(5) Then take Rue du Mesnil on the left. You will come across the white and red markings ofthe GR®11, which you will follow for a while.
Continue straight ahead and pass a street on your right. The street curves to the left, becomes Rue d'Heurcourt as it continues, then turns left after the houses. 500 m further on, it turns right.
(6) Leave it and take the path on the left through the woods, following theGR®11.
Continue, pass a path on the left and cross the ford.
(7) 200 m further on, take the right-hand branch at the T-junction. Join Rue des Jorets.
(8) At the Y-junction, continue right along Rue des Vignes.
(9) At the end of the bend, keep left on Rue des Vignes towards the cemetery. Continue slightly to the left on the path, leaving the cemetery and the farm shed on your right. Take the road on the left, then turn right at a 90° angle onto the farm track (large earth delta).
(10) 150m after the road (50m after the end of the delta), take the first path on the left.
Continue for 1.2km, then turn left onto the D 188, which turns left after 200m.
(11) 400m further on, turn onto the farm track on the right.
(12) After 500 metres, turn right at the T-junction to leave theGR®11trail.
At the next T-junction, turn left. Leave a path on your right and pass a square copse further on your right.
(13) As you enter the next copse, turn left, taking care not to go past the wedge-shaped gap on the left.
Go down a small steep and stony path (be careful if the ground is wet!). You will find theGR®11markings again, which you follow to the left. On the right, you will see a water treatment plant. After walking between meadows and woods, enter Margicourt via Rue de la Couture.
(14) At the first intersection, turn right onto Rue Emmanuel d'Astier. Walk up the street and join Rue du Carrouge and the car park (S/E).
