A rich heritage: churches, wash houses, wayside crosses, beautiful buildings – a bit of tarmac, but we’re passing through several towns.
A service at Labbeville church meant we couldn’t visit it, but the church in Nesles-la-Vallée was open.
The walk along Rue de Pontoise (pt 15) isn’t very pleasant, with a narrow pavement alongside a very busy road.
There are a few tables and benches along the promenade that follows the River Sausseron to Valmondois.

A good route, but for my taste it involves too many roads and fields

It’s easier to set off from L’Isle Adam station. In early May, the vegetation is in full bloom, with some very beautiful trees and a profusion of stunning wisteria. And finally, there are some lovely houses in the villages along the way.
