The Favières tour

Head towards La Chèvrerie in the commune of Bellevaux andcontinue to the Torchon chairlift car park.

(S/E) Go to the bridge at the end of the car park. You will be able to see the Roc d'Enfer massif on the sign to the left of the bridge. Walk up alongside the building without crossing the bridge and take the forest track on the right which runs alongside the Brevon river.

(1) Leave the access to the Finge chalet with its pastures on your left and continue along the track to Favières.

(2) Take the path on the right under the first chalet. Continue to the bridge crossing the Brevon.

(3) Cross and continue along the track until you reach the intersection with another forest track.

(4) Continue straight ahead to descend, leave the forest and reach the chalets of Lajoux.

(5) Go straight ahead. At the bottom of the pasture, turn right to return to the car park (S/E).

If the ground is wet, wear suitable footwear as several sections of the forest trail may be muddy.
