Marked trail – Violet school trail
(S/E) From the car park, walk past the Espace Nature Culture and continue up the rising road, then take the path on the right which crosses the stream. Continue to the junction where the circular route begins.
(1) Turn right, towards the Maison de l’Environnement. Follow the road straight ahead, downhill, until you reach a sharp hairpin bend to the right.
(2) Keep left onto a grassy path. Head down through the forest along a stepped path to reach the École de Belmont further down.
(3) With your back to the school, take the path leading uphill. At the crossroads, turn right. Walk past the Monthaut farm before coming out onto a small road.
(4) Follow it for a few metres, then turn left onto an uphill path. After a left-hand bend, pass above Les Béheurdis farm. Turn left to see the18th-century royal boundary stones, then right and left to rejoin the forest track. Further on, take another narrower path on the left until you come out onto a small road. Carry on straight ahead; you’re back at the point you passed on the way out.
(1) Turn right and follow the path you took earlier, but in the opposite direction, until you reach the car park (S/E).
