The hike starts at the Col des Roix on the D486, about 30 km north-east of Lure. There are two small car parks just before and at the pass.
(S/E) The hike starts opposite the "Le Perce-Neige" hotel and restaurant. Take theGR®®7trail.
300m from the start, pass the house and take the path on the right towards the orientation table.
(1) Orientation table and blank map. Set off again, going around the small hill to return to the intersection you left earlier. Opposite, follow the red and whiteGR®® markings in a north-easterly direction.
(2) You will arrive at a paved road with a view of Le Thillot. Turn right.
(3) At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead towards Longeligoutte, still on the Chemin des Mines
(4) At the hairpin bend to the right, follow the round yellow signs towards La Pransière
(5) In the bend, leave the main road and turn left onto a path that climbs southwards
(6) At La Pransière, turn right and follow the red round signs towards Chemin des Brosses du Lémont.
(7) When you reach a paved road, turn left and continue for about 100 metres, then take the trail on the right.
Follow the path downhill to Château-Lambert.
(8) Turn right and follow the green rectangular signs until you reach your destination.
(9) When you cross the Ognon, turn left onto the road towards Château-Lambert.
(10) At the church, go down the Roman road on the left.
(11) At the intersection with a paved road, turn right to reach the finish (S/E).
