The starting point is at the presbytery car park, which can be reached by turning right and going behind the church, where you will find a sign showing the Bois de Thise walks. The three Blue, Red and Black trails start together for a few kilometres.
The Dolines trail is marked in red on a white background with a fox's head and conventional directional signs.
(S/E) From the presbytery car park, go down Rue du Presbytère and turn right to go up Rue du Paret, which is paved at the start and then becomes a white path called Chemin Ferré.
(1) Leave Chemin Ferré, take the path on the left and immediately opposite, Chemin du Facteur.
(2) Leave Chemin du Facteur and turn right onto the marked path.
(3) Continue straight ahead following the red and black markings. The blue "du petit Poucet" trail branches off to the right.
(4) Go around several sinkholes, which are often overgrown with vegetation.
(5) At the place called La Gruerie, turn right.
(6) Pass over the Doline des Blaireaux; it is best not to go down there so as not to disturb the badgers. Turn left. You will arrive on the paved road that goes from Braillans to the Ruffille farm.
(7) Follow this road to the right.
(8) Continue straight ahead and, further on, admire the valley in which this farm is located, which the route bypasses. Continue along the white path.
(9) Pass close to a relay antenna. The white path turns right. Follow it downhill for just over a kilometre.
(10) Take the path on the right. Enjoy the undergrowth with its various species of trees. Follow the red markings and ignore the other paths and trails. The path leads to Place des Faisans.
(11) Turn left onto Chemin de la Lisière. This path passes near a picnic area, then the Vaux equestrian centre.
(12) After the equestrian centre, you can make a round trip to the Notre-Dame de la Libération site with its view of the commune of Thise. Otherwise, continue along the path and admire the view of the aerodrome, the plain and the hill of Montfaucon before returning to the presbytery car park (S/E).
