Park in the car park at the Domaine des Courmettes.
(S/E) Cross the car park and immediately follow the DFCI track.
(1) Note the path on the left, which you will take on the return journey, and continue to the right until you reach marker no. 187.
(2) Pass the access to the antennas on your right and continue left for about a hundred metres to reach a second marker, no. 187. Then turn left, heading towards Pic de Courmettes.
(3) Turn right and continue the ascent through an oak wood, then across a barren, vegetation-free area: follow the yellow markings and yellow and blue markings to the summit.
(4) Once on the plateau, turn left. The ascent is unmarked: the signposts end here. Reach the summit of Pic de Courmettes, where there is a stone wind shelter. Enjoy one of the most beautiful 360° panoramic views of the coastline.
(5) From the summit, head right and follow the cliff face north-eastwards. Follow a path that is barely visible at first but soon gives way to a very beautiful descending trail.
(6) Leave the path and head left to reach the Puy de Tourrettes, climbing by sight. At the summit, there is a pile of stones and magnificent views over the Gorges du Loup.
(7) Turn almost completely round and head north-east to rejoin the path leading to the Baïsse du Puy de Naouri: marker no. 176.
(8) Turn right towards Tourrettes-sur-Loup. Start a series of hairpin bends and reach a small platform serving as a viewpoint.
(9) Turn right. The path, offering coastal views, crosses dense heathland, then turns into a track suitable for vehicles. At the junction, continue to the right and emerge onto the DFCI track known as Courmettes au Villars.
(10) Turn right onto it, passing marker no. 179, heading towards Domaine des Courmettes.
(11) About ten metres before the gate, a path branches off to the right, offering a view of an imposing ruin with vaulted stone lintels. Turn back and rejoin the track. Pass markers no. 186 and 185.
(2) Back at marker no. 187, continue to the right, still heading towards Domaine des Courmettes.
(1) At this bend in the track, continue straight ahead through the forest. Then turn left onto the cobbled section, between the old buildings, to reach the car park (S/E).
