(S/E) With your back to the port, take Rue de la Corniche and follow the coast. At a fork, look to your right for the remains of an old windmill.
(1) Leave the road, turn left onto the coastal path and pass a statue (Aux marins courageux, nos pensées à jamais). Return to the road and follow it to the left to reach Pointe de Penmarch. Pass by the shelter of the old lifeboat, Papa Poydenot (exhibition), go around the Eckmül lighthouse, the old lighthouse and the Saint-Pierre Chapel (exhibitions in summer).
(2) Continue along the coast and you will soon see the Notre-Dame de la Joie Chapel and its calvary on the seafront. Take the time to visit it if it is open (summer).

(3) Leave the coast, turn right, cross the D80 at the pedestrian crossing and take Rue des Perdrix opposite until it ends. Continue along a path that runs alongside a marsh area on your left and ends at a cul-de-sac, which is the greenway, a former railway line that linked Pont-l'Abbé and Saint-Guénolé.

Leave the signposted route as it branches off to the left, continue straight ahead and you will arrive at the Church of Sainte-Thumette. Take the time to admire this 16th-century church and visit it if it is open (there is a garden next door with picnic tables).
(7) Turn right onto Venelle Sainte-Thumette, then left onto Rue Paul Éluard and arrive at the port car park (S/E).
