Park at the Col de la Chaîne.
(S/E) Take the RD90 with caution towards Suzette for about 150 metres.
(1) Take theGR®4(white and red markings) on the right. The route up to the Crête de Saint-Amand passes through undergrowth of boxwood and oak trees. When the vegetation thins out, you will see Mont Ventoux on the left, the village of Suzette and the Dentelles de Montmirail in the background on the right.
(2) When you reach a crossroads at Combe Fréou, leave theGR® and take thePR® on the left, which descends to another junction: Le Partifiage.
(3) Take the path on the left. When you arrive at this place, note the panorama: the village of Suzette, the Abbaye Sainte-Madeleine, the Château du Barroux and the Cirque de Saint-Amand with its terraced crops.
(4) Continue down this path until you reach a wider path on the right, which you should follow to the RD90, about 300 m further on.
(5) Follow the road on the left.
(1) Continue along the road to the Col de la Chaîne (S/E).
