Signposting for the "Vendée vélo" cycle route
(S/E) Take Rue Lafayette, then turn left onto Boulevard Aristide Briand. At the roundabout, go straight ahead and continue to the next roundabout.
(1) Turn right onto Rue de la Simbrandière, onto the cycle path, and cross the bridge over the Yon.
(2) At the end, take the cycle path on the right, which runs alongside the Yon, keeping it on your right, then on your left, until you reach a fork, almost at the end of the woods, on the other bank.
(3) Turn right, enter the housing estate, and continue along Rue Jean Sébastien Bach, then Rue Goya. At the end of the latter, go straight ahead onto the lane. Continue straight ahead until you reach the junction with Avenue Léonard de Vinci.
(4) Cross it and take the cycle path that runs alongside it. Cross the entrance to the hospital, then the D747, go under the railway bridge and you will arrive at a road at the corner of No. 101 in the "Acti Sud" economic zone.
(5) Turn right and, at the roundabout that follows, turn left onto Rue Hippolyte Maindron. Follow the economic zone on your left, then follow Rue John James Audubon until you reach the motorway interchange.
(6) Continue straight ahead towards L'Auroire. At the next intersection, turn left and continue to a four-way intersection in the hamlet of L'Auroire.

(7) Turn left onto Rue des Écureuils, then continue along Rue des Mésanges until you reach the expressway. Turn right, follow the road and go under the expressway.
(8) Go under the bridge, pass the place called Colette, and follow the road to the edge of the woods. Take the dirt track on the right, leave La Vrignaudière on your right, then continue along the road. At the junction under the high-voltage line, keep right and join the next three-way junction.
(9) Keep right towards Jarrie for a round trip to the Jarrie farm.
(10) Return to the previous junction.
(9) Once back, turn right, then continue straight ahead until you reach the junction at house no. 2.
(11) Turn left, ignore Villeneuve, and continue to the crossroads at La Gibertière.
(12) Turn right and follow this road with caution (D85): there is heavy traffic. Take thesecond road on the left at the Croix d'Argent.
(13) Turn onto this road towards Rambourg. At the next crossroads, turn right, cross the hamlet of Rambourg, then turn left towards Moulin de Rambourg and continue until you reach it.
(14) It is worth stopping here to visit or stroll along the Yon river. Continue to the right, just before the mill. Cross the bridge over the Yon and turn left a few metres further on. At the hamlet of La Planche, continue along a track and rejoin the tarmac road at Les Brancardières.
(15) Keep left, then quickly turn right, then left, and join a three-way junction with a track on the left.
(16) Follow this track, cross the D85 and continue opposite on Route de la Moussonnière. Pass the hamlet and continue along the track. The route is a little stony in places. Pass under the railway bridges, then under the A87, then follow the railway line more or less until you reach the junction at the corner of No. 101 in the "Acti Sud" economic zone.

(5) Continue right, following the cycle path, retracing your steps until you reach the tourist office (S/E).
